Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Maverick (“we”) handles personal information in connection with The Maverick. It covers our customers — franchisors and their team members — and visitors to our website. Candidates who interact with a franchisor’s recruitment page should also read that franchisor’s own privacy policy, linked on their page; for that data the franchisor is in charge and we process it on their behalf.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), role and business details you provide.
• Content you upload, such as Zorakle profiles, brand information and messages.
• Candidate data your recruitment pages collect, processed for you as your service provider.
• Usage and device data: pages used, IP address, browser, and errors, to run and secure the Service.
• Billing details, handled by Stripe; we don’t store card numbers.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, send the emails and texts you configure, support you, bill you, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use your candidates’ data for our own marketing.

Service providers

We use carefully chosen providers to run the Service: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI writing and chat), Resend (email delivery), Twilio or Sendblue (text messages, on your own account), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Cal.com (scheduling, on your account). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit; provider credentials are encrypted at rest; each customer’s data is isolated at the database level; and two-step sign-in is available. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while your account is active. Deleted contacts are kept in the Trash for 30 days, then removed. When you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep. Backups roll off within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data in the app, or ask us at support@themaverick.ai. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK) you may have additional rights; we’ll honour them as the law requires.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and a referral cookie when you arrive through a partner link. Franchisors may add their own analytics to their recruitment pages.
